A fifties Andrews Day Launch
Christobel II is a 1952 Andrews Day Launch, one of 20 or so built. A comfortable alternative to an open slipper launch with the same length and pedigree. She has been recently restored by John Clark in Kingston and could transfer ownership there with an on site mooring if required. The engine is a Ford Sea Tiger with a BSS certificate to 2020. Built of mahogany on oad (some had plywood sides) and now presented in lovely order this is an opportunity to acquire a true Thames classic. Some of the boats have folding doors, others solid bulkheads. Christobel has the former which opens up the seating to the forward cockpit. There are two traditional lloyd loom chairs plus a stool. She has a canopy and sidescreens as well as a full length cover for storage. A stainless steel 2 burner hob and grill make the boat very useable as a weekender.
