Thames Bank – electric punt

Traditional electrified punt

A rare opportunity to acquire a very unusual Thames classic. Punts were hugely popular in Victorian times when people donned their summer best and boarded a train for a day on the river anywhere between Richmond and Oxford with Henley and Maidenhead particularly popular. There is something sybaritic about lazing on a punt. Thames Bank has luxurious velvet cushions and adds a table for long liquid lunches or even overnight camping thanks to an ingenious set of hoods. A side wheel drives the hidden electric pod motor in the stern and a full folding cover gives some shelter in case of bad weather. For more information please call the office. We will be showing the punt at our Beale Park boat store during 2018 and she will be auctioned following the Traditional boat Festival in mid July. Please contact ourselves or SAS auctioneers for more information on price and spec.
