Otter 26 cabin launch – available to order only

Example of an Otter 26 available to order

Designed in 2007 by Andrew Wolstenholme the Otter 26 is built on the basis of  a generously proportioned easily driven hull. While several have been built for use as up market charter boats including Gentleman Jim on Rollesby Broad in Norfolk at the Waterside Cafe, two other boats were fitted out as private cabin launches. One of these is now in Austria, the other just for sale here in the UK near our Henley office. HSC finished this particular boat with its GRP low maintenance hull and solid wood interior for a couple who have found themselves landlocked and she hasn’t been out of storage for two years. Varnished decks and cabin sides in mahogany complete the picture.  She has her own bespoke trailer and excellent under cover storage with trickle charging so is presented almost as new. Powered by a 4 kw electric motor you can expect a respectable 8mph with extremely low consumption at river cruising speed. Verity II seats eight people comfortably with an aft cockpit fitting neatly under the fixed canopy and seating for six in the bow with a choice of seating either in the open air or under the canopy. The helm is on the port side with a cushion against the bulkhead and good visibility forward and aft. The dining table can be moved forward for dining or remain in the cabin where six people can be seated at ease. The small galley with a fridge and sink is located on the starboard side aft of the saloon with a flushing loo and holding tank opposite. All in  all a very comfortable cruising boat for lake, river or estuary. There are tonneau covers for the aft cockpit and the forward cockpit in blue acrylic canvas.
