Zanzibar – an electric Frolic 31

An electric Frolic 31 cabin launch

Built by the excellent Creative marine team at the Secret Boatyard in Norfolk, Zanzibar was built for a discerning riparian on the Thames. They chose teak decking and internal flooring with a mahogany cabin on a low maintenance GRP hull. In 2014 the boat was fully revarnished by Henwood and Dean boatbuilders and is looking splendid for a new owner. The ocean blue acrylic canvas cushions are piped in white and complement perfectly the smart buff and white curtains. There is of course a flushing loo with holding tank and a wash basin on the port side with a small galley surface with cold water sink on the port side. The two hob diesel cooker also supplies heating to the main cabin which seats eight. I particularly like the aft cockpit area which seats four. This particular boat has a short forward canopy with a tonneau. There would be room for more bench seating if required in the bow. Zanzibar has a tonneau for storage as seen in one of the photos, as well as a full length fitted cover for longer term storage winter and summer.

Available for viewing in our winter storage facility at Beale Park by appointment with the office on 01491 578870.
