In keeping with our philosophy of working with stylish, traditional craft,
Henley Sales & Charter are now offering three classic 12 seater luxury river
cruisers for hire on the Thames which will cover the stretch of river from
Staines to Henley.
Fringilla is a beautiful classic 34' Van Lent motor yacht
also built in Holland and recently renovated to a very high standard. She
is fully weatherproof, fitted with all modern facilities and also licensed
for up to 12 passengers.
Constance is a 50’ Victorian launch based in Henley-on-Thames
and a registered national historic vessel. She is a fine example of 19th
century craftsmanship with a teak panelled 12 seater cabin aft and an exceptionally
spacious and useful open foredeck. 
This elegant vessel offers gentle all-weather cruising for cocktail outings
or sophisticated picnic dining on the mid reaches of the Thames. Well located
for aperitif trips, afternoon teas or picnics, we are also offering sketching
and painting days with a professional tutor and a picnic lunch on this idyllic
stretch of the Thames. On the arts theme Constance provides perfect bankside
viewing for private parties at the Henley Festival of Music and the Arts.
Exclusive charter is available for wonderful, gentle river trips on the
Thames along the beautiful stretch of river from Windsor, Maidenhead, Marlow
and Henley from £400 for a minimum of 2 hours with a skipper - an ideal
way to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, bride and groom transfers, riverside
restaurant transfers, business lunches, Henley Regatta and Henley Festival.
Larus is a traditional Dutch Super Kaagcruiser which benefits
from a large rear cockpit which can be covered or open, beautifully finished
in teak and mahogany and capable of seating 8/9 people. There is also a
smaller saloon area, central heating, a toilet and hot and cold running
water.
Lisbeth is a charming, spacious Gentleman's launch built
in the mid 20th century to a classic Windermere design. Built of mahogany
on oak and with a beam of 9ft 6ins she is the ideal launch for entertaining
up to 12 guests with skipper and optional crew. Additional 21st century
comforts include heating in the cabin and a spacious loo. The in built champagne
cooler is an obvious necessity for stylish entertaining. Guests can lounge
in the draught free cabin or enjoy the fresh air both in the aft cockpit
and the forward cabin where the drop down window panels create a kind of
floating conservatory. The boat is electrically powered which enables complete
tranquillity and relaxation. Lisbeth will be based on the Goring reach close
to the Leatherne Bottel, the Beetle and Wedge and the Swan at Streatley
for riverside dining. She will of course cruise up to Henley-on-Thames in
late June and July for the Henley Royal Regatta, the ensuing Festival of
the Arts and Music and the Traditional Boat Rally.
