Leander Club
Henley Sales and Charter are delighted to be able to offer a ‘cruise and
stay’ option in collaboration with the prestigious Leander Club on the
Henley reach. Leander Club is the home to a number of Britain’s Olympic
rowing squads and to one of the world’s best parties which takes place
every July, as ambitious oarsmen gather to compete for one of the Royal
Regatta’s magnificent trophies. You and your guests can view the rowing
and the accompanying razzamatazz from your own personal riverside grandstand
on board one of our Classic Boat Collection. There are a number of boats
to choose from depending on the size of your party and your budget.
Furthermore during the rest of the year Leander Club has a number of riverside
rooms which are ideal for conferences and parties so why not combine a
cruise with a meal or even a full day at the club? For the ultimate Regatta
week New Venture makes the perfect sleeping, eating and entertaining platform
with a skipper, crew and chef at your disposal. We can also arrange for
a rowing member of Leander to accompany you on New Venture for an informal
chat about rowing and the excitement of competing at the Henley Royal
Regatta. During the rest of the year Leander Club has kindly agreed to
offer our guests the opportunity to enjoy the club’s hospitality so why
not check in for a night or two in the Harvard Bedroom or one of the other
historic bedrooms, invite friends to dine with you and explore the historic
town of Henley-on-Thames from the comfort of Leander.
