A smart open carvel launch built of larch planking on oak and elm frames with teak lining inside the cockpit and traditional copper fastenings. The flooring and part of the decking is covered in marine lino as specified in the original build spec. Powered by a 10 h.p. Morris Vedette,Harvey was built in 1929 by the Brooke Marine yard at Lowestoft as a tender to a large yacht. The boat comes with chairs, rope fenders, burgee and ensign and is protected by a full length cover. There is also a Brooke Empire engine which has been stripped down ready for a rebuild. Documentation includes the original specification on headed notepaper and a list of all previous owners. A new BSS certificate will be available in spring 2007 prior to relaunching.
