Hunter is a very special boat having been reconfigure in true noughties style for a discerning owner by Colin Henwood who lavished time and varnish on a sixties Starcraft to produce something unique. The original boat was constructed of double diagonal mahogany on oak with a painted hull but frankly this is where the membership of the Starcraft family begins and ends. She had three owners prior to the present one who bought her in 2002. She was in reasonably serviceable condition but tired and in need of refurbishment. Bernard had worked before with Colin Henwood and their collaboration has been the subject of an article in The Boater magazine which we have available on request. Hunter today is the perfect weekender, a combination of open cruising with a large cockpit and a cosy but sophisticated interior with all the necessaries for overnighting. The inventory includes cushions, a winter cover, canopy, cooking utensils and crockery, a 12 volt toaster, television, DVD player, ropes fenders etc and even colour coordinated sleeping bags !
