An exceptional steam launch of great style and well known in steaming circles as she has appeared at many rallies and particularly at the Traditional Boat Rally in Henley on Thames where she won Best Boat in Show in 1994. She has been with the same family since 1986 when she was purchased in a parlous state from the first Phillips Auction. There followed a period of rebuilding (teak on oak) after which she has had constant attention to maintain her excellent condition. A new Roger Mallinson engine was fitted in 1998 and Ed Langley built a new boiler to Mumford specification. The owners claim that they have "never knowingly been overtaken". It has a new 10 year boiler certificate and a current Boat Safety Certificate. The boat seats eight passengers in comfort plus the engineer and the driver. Cushions are of green vinyl and there is an overall cover. The four wheel braked trailer is included in the sale having been built specifically for Sunbeam.
