Designed and built by Fairey Marine in 1967 on the Hamble of cold moulded diagonal marine ply, this is an extremely robust boat suitable for estuarial cruising under sail (complete set of new sails 2002) or simply for messing about on the Thames as the bilge keel offers extremely low draft. The horseshoe shaped cockpit seats four on an aft bench with good visibility from the helm to the port side. The internal accommodation is spacious enough for four to live aboard; the galley has a sink and two burner cooker with oven while the head is a classic pump out system with a small slide away wash basin. Fuel consumption is minimal (about 3 litres p/hr) from the reliable Perkins 4107 engine. For those who wish to sail (currently the mast is stepped) the spars are of aluminium with stainless steel rigging.

The boat was originally built for the Earl of Malmesbury as White Hurn and is registered with the British Registry as number 333645.

Available for viewing afloat on the Thames near Henley. Call 01491 578870
