Bella, a handsome and unusual launch and occasional weekender, is built of red deal planking on oak ribs, sapele and teak superstructure and teak decks. She is believed to have been a Southampton Authority harbour launch built in 1928.During the winter of 2008/9 topsides were taken right back and she had 6 coats of paint, rubbed down between each coat, the varnish was also taken right back and 10 coats applied, again rubbed down between each coat and of course re anti fouled. Winter of 2009/10 the topsides and hull were rubbed and repainted and re anti-fouled. The engine in a Vetus 4 cylinder diesel, two people can sleep very comfortably on her, she has a loo cubicle for a port-a-potty. Now in winter storage with a current BSS certificate.
