Skippa is a typical Broads cruiser with the folding wheelhouse to facilitate the passing of low bridges. With her 43ft in length she sleeps 7 very comfortably and benefits from a new galley and heads installed by Dennetts of Chertsey during her previous refit. This year they have replanked the hull and given her a full examination to ensure her survival well into the future. She was built by Martham Boats in 1970, a company specialising still in the charter of wooden boats. Skippa is one of the largest boats but still manageable for a family with a single 40 hp diesel engine. In these difficult times customers are turning increasingly to low cost fuel options for their boats and we are seeing an upsurge of interest in these lovely old easily driven hulls for the inland waterways. Skippa would make a lovely summer home for a family or a couple with plenty of room offered by the 11ft beam and with the added benefit of a 50 gallon fuel tank, 100 gallons of water and a 50 gallon holding tank.

There is a new Boat Safety certificate and she is available for viewing afloat near Chertsey. Please call the office for an appointment to view.
