Built as a patrol launch for the Thames Conservancy in the days prior to the NRA and then the EA, by Fairey Aviation, and fitted out by Souters in the mid sixties. The hull planking is Agba on oak while the decks, although originally teak, have been replaced with varnished mahogany. An interesting quirk is the original cocktail cabinet behind the starboard passenger seat for sober winter outings in the days when a tot of rum was no doubt compulsory for river inspectors.

Tillingbourne has recently been completely refurbished by Classic Boatworks to a very high standard and is a beautiful boat in immaculate condition - even the engine box has been painted out in battleship grey.

For sale with Tillingbourne are two cushions for the forward seats, a pair of tonneau covers as well as a full length winter cover. The BSS certificate is valid until June 2015 and the EA licence valid until December 2011.

She is available for viewing by appointment on a private mooring in the Cookham area.
