The Steam and Electric Launch Company started their range of traditional styled boats in the mid eighties with the Frolic 18. They are still available today from Creative marine in Norfolk. Water Rat is a particularly lovely example as she is fitted out inside with solid mahogany and has full wooden decks to match. The current owner added a sunbathing area which is formed by extra planking in the bow and matching cushions.Some of the later boats have been fitted with pod motors but Water Rat has the advantage of a 1.4 kw inboard motor with a new set of deep cycling batteries. She comes with a custom built trailer and a brand new full length cover.Available for viewing at Beale Park Barns by prior appointment.The Boat Safety Certificate is valid until 12th June 2012.
