Duchy 21 by Cockwells
A spacious comfortable open launch with GRP hull and seating for 10
Cockwells Duchy 27 has proved to be very popular as a sea going launch. The team in Mylor have been itching to add a smaller sister and the Duchy 21 is the perfect solution. The Dutch market has brought to the Thames and other UK waterways a range of mock clinker, rope clad open boats which have also proved popular. However now you can buy a boat built in the UK by one of our leading contemporary classics manufacturers. Cockwells are also known for building bespoke limousine and open tenders for superyachts so you can expect quality and good after sales service.
With ample cockpit space for 10 to 12 guests, this stylish and comfortable open day boat provides the perfect platform for cruising and relaxing with family and friends.
What’s more, she can be customised to suit your exact specification and include any number of optional extras.
Swimming is made easier with a ladder that aligns with the cockpit’s central steps. Waterproof cushions create a forward double sunbed so that you can dry off in style. The sunbed converts into a spacious overnight double berth or a fully-enclosed cockpit when skies turn grey with ingenious sprayhoods that disappear when not in use. Sip something chilled from the fridge while listening to your favourite tunes on the Fusion marine stereo. Prepare a gourmet picnic using the sink and hob, and dine al fresco from two folding oak tables – or unlock the built-in hamper and take it ashore. The possibilities of life aboard a Duchy 21 that is uniquely yours are endless.
Powered by either diesel engine or electric motor, the highly versatile Duchy 21 is a capable sea-going boat that can be towed and launched almost anywhere – at the coast, or on the river, fjord or lake.
If for use at sea the number of permitted passengers falls to 8 but back on the inland waterways you are permitted to cruise with 12 passengers thanks to an extremely stable Wolstenholme designed hull.
