A Flying Swan class cruiser

‘Tamesia’ comes back to HSC after many years of meticulous ownership. Built in 1965 by Geo. Wilson & Sons as a Flying Swan class cruiser, she is now powered by a modern and economical Nanni diesel engine with low cruising hours. 

‘Tamesia’ is a very practical and well maintained classic wooden Thames cruiser.

Having had major restoration work at M Dennett’s boat builders ‘Tamesia’ has been meticulously maintained since by her current and previous owners.

‘Tamesia’ was registered as boat No.9 in the Thames Vintage Boat Club and is one of eight Flying Swans built in Sunbury-on-Thames by Geo. Wilson & Sons.

Features include: Hot water, toilet to holding tank, fridge, electric induction hob and portable stove, charger and mains hook up. Hood with side-screens and both full summer and winter covers.

Hull: Carvel planked iroko on oak.

 

Engine: Nanni Kubota 4150 diesel engine. 4 cylinder (37.5hp). 890 hours. Year 2001

 

Boat Safety Certificate to 2022, EA Licence for 2020 for the Thames.

Possible mooring close to Henley on Thames by separate negotiation. The mooring is in an idyllic location with parking, toilets and showers.
