A converted bass fishing boat
The Treehouse is a clinker wooden electrified launch, once believed to have been a bass fishing boat. Certainly the owner has looked after her and has owned for for many years. He believes she was built in 1960 or thereabouts and he replaced the diesel inboard with a Lynch electric motor. We went out together on the Thames and she behaved impeccably while looking extremely smart after several coats of fresh varnish inside and out. The hull is of mahogany on oak with a teak deck. There is a cover to protect the foredeck and a tonneau to close the boat against the elements. You could easily camp in the forward area or put in some lloyd loom seating or benches. She is steered from the stern by means of a traditional tiller.
Viewing on the middle Thames by appointment. EA licence and BSS current.
